Call for entries! Submit your photos to the Juried Student Photography Show “Anchored and Adrift.” The exhibition will run from Thursday, Nov. 14 to spring 2025.
How to submit
Carthage students can enter up to three photographs. For each submitted photography, you will need: title, medium (digital, silver gelatin, cyanotype, mixed media, etc.), year completed, value/price, and if it is for sale.
What are elements in your life that anchor you or provide a sense of purpose? What elements are pulling you into the unknown?
Competition timeline details:
Entries Due: 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30
Jurying: Thursday, Oct. 31-Sunday, Nov. 3
Notification of Acceptance By: Monday, Nov. 4
Photo Printing and Framing Workshop: Required for selected photos. Workshops will be held between 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in JAC 219 and JAC 213 (Printing Output Lab)
Exhibition Dates: Thursday, Nov. 14-Spring 2025
Opening Reception: 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Erhler Hospitality Center
Note: Accepted digital photos must be printed at 12x18 inches — either vertically or horizontally. By attending the workshops, you’ll print your digital photo and frame your work. Details will be provided when artwork is selected for the exhibition.
